Newton's laws in spiritual pursuit

There are 3 famous laws of Newton. As per the first law, an object will not change its motion unless a force acts on it. As per the second law, the force on an object is equal to its mass times its acceleration. As per the third law, when two objects interact, they apply forces to each other of equal magnitude and opposite direction.

Similarly, there are 3 laws in spirituality:

  1. A person does not move from materiality to spirituality unless a force acts on him. Generally, out of our habit patterns and fixations, we keep living life guided by materialistic motivations such as wealth, health, security, networking, name, fame, and knowledge. We keep moving at different speeds in pursuit of one or the other outcome. We do not change until and unless a force is applied to us to change the motion. Generally, this force comes in the form of difficulties such as ill health, loss of wealth, fear and insecurity, disturbance in relationships, social disapproval, or psychological issues. Generally, with these forces, we just change the direction of our movement from one outcome to the other. Money was very important so far, after health issues, we focus on health. However, very rarely, do we get such forces that make us feel the meaninglessness of all our motivations and lift us upward.
  2. As per the second law, the force we are moving with towards material pursuits depends upon the mass of our desires and the acceleration of the aggression to pursue these desires. Some of us have a huge mass of desires but have little aggression to follow them. Some have huge aggression but fewer desires. Both these categories of people have little force to pursue materialistic goals. It's easy to apply spiritual force and change their direction. However, most of the people in this world have a huge mass of desires and are quite aggressive in their efforts to get the desired outcomes. The mass of desires is the volume of desires multiplied by the density of fixation on these desires. Apparently, a person may be fixated on very few things but the density of the fixation may be too high making the mass of such desire quite high. Such people, if pursuing these desires aggressively, are difficult to get enough spiritual force necessary for course correction and spiritual upliftment.
  3. As per the third law, when two persons, one moving towards materialistic pursuits and the other moving in a spiritual direction interact, they apply equal force on each other in opposite directions. The person pursuing materialistic objects forces the other one to move in the direction of materiality. The person in pursuit of spirituality puts equal force on the other person to move in a spiritual direction. If the force of a materialistic person as per the second law is quite high, the other person will have to bear a lot of impact. So, while moving along the spiritual path, one should be careful of one's own force while encountering people with the opposite force, and if not confident to absorb the force, one should try to avoid such people.
